The Movie
Lucia is a short movie by Élise Gaiardo and Fabio Soares.
The project was improvised, written and filmed in 3 hours, by night, on february 25th 2014. The main point of Lucia was to create a non narrative story about lonelyness, happiness and friendship, all among a short journey in Monmartre’s streets : a place crowded by day, and empty at night.
The original soundtrack has been composed by Vivien Thielen. The instrumental part, without any melody, follows the main character mind in her journey and gives another dimension to the whole movie.
“To be honest, we didn’t expect anything about this improvised filming, expect having fun and train to work together. We just went out, only the two of us, with very few equipment so that we could move easily. Today, we re really proud of Lucia : a mysterious character to follow in a non narrative experience by night. There is nothing to understand, but many emotions to feel! To enjoy this very short movie, just listen to your heart and stop thinking…”
